I was inspired to make this because of a TikTok I saw. The creator said that they got the cubes from the dollar store, so I thought it would be a great way for me to make a cool gift but not empty my wallet. I chose to arrange the blocks into a lilac from Minecraft, since I was gifting this to a pair of friends who I had played Minecraft with me a couple of times.

I first counted out all the blocks I needed for each color based on a google image of the lilac Minecraft flower. Then I painted each block with acrylic paint. Next, I superglued the blocks together. One thing that was troublesome while building was that the cubes were not perfectly square. Which is why the finished project looks crooked in some areas. I tried my best to arrange the blocks in such a way to limit the deformation of the lines.
